Hello everyone,
UO OASA was recently informed of some inaccuracies and limitations in our Sexual Violence Prevention Toolkit, which was released earlier this term. Specifically, those inaccuracies and limitations were mostly found in the “How to Get Involved” and “Support Services” sections. After learning more about the specific issues, we have realized that many of the inaccuracies were due to misunderstandings and misinterpretations on our end. First and foremost, we apologize for our mistakes and that these inaccuracies and limitations made it in to the final version of the Toolkit. Our intention was never to misinform recipients of the Toolkit or spread inaccurate information, and we are taking actions to amend these issues. In the immediate, we have temporarily removed the Toolkit from our website and will re-upload it once we’ve ensured that the information in it is as expansive and accurate as possible. We’ve also created a Google Form so that anyone can deliver anonymous feedback about the Toolkit, which you can access through the following link: http://goo.gl/forms/w2BZ8EgMPtB1N86N2 Throughout the rest of the term and next academic year, OASA will work diligently to improve the Toolkit and print physical copies once it is fixed. Please bear with us while we work to make our Toolkit as best as it can be. We thank you in advance for your patience and are sorry that these errors occurred. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail us at [email protected]. Sincerely, UO OASA |
