WHO WE ARE

Meet Blake! She's OASA's Director. She's a senior studying Family and Human Services with two minors in Sociology and Law. She joined OASA because she has personally been affected by sexual assault. As a peer and young professional, she is continuously learning and growing in her education about sexual assault. She thinks it’s really important to be someone in the community that people can go to when they have no idea where to go. Currently she serves on the Title IX Advisory Group for sexual misconduct and reviewing the reporting process at U of O because having a voice is important to her. Why did you want to be apart of OASA? I joined OASA because I have personally been affected by sexual assault. As a peer and young professional, I am continuously learning and growing in my education about sexual assault. I think it’s really important to be someone in the community that people can go to when they have no idea where to go. Currently I serve on the Title IX Advisory Group for sexual misconduct and reviewing the reporting process at U of O, so having a voice is important to me. What are you looking forward to for the upcoming school year? I am extremely excited for our team to do more events that get more students and faculty involved. I’m hoping to bring sexual assault awareness to light on campus.
Meet Mackenzie! She is our Finance Coordinator. She is a junior studying Political Science and Business - Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She joined OASA because choice is incredibly important to her. After interning for Planned Parenthood Advocates of Oregon last year she realized how crucial this work is and that she needed to continue being a part of this work. Being a part of a community that actively works to uplift and support others, especially women, is a huge part of her life, and she is so grateful to be apart of OASA. She is looking forward to growing OASA’s presence on campus and membership, in addition to continuing to educate the U of O community on the realities of sexual assault.
Meet Paulina! She is our Content Creator. She is a junior with a double major in Public Relations and Russian with a minor in Spanish. She joined OASA because In high school she worked teaching sex ed for Planned Parenthood for two years and that kick started her passion for comprehensive sex education and sexual violence prevention work! She is looking forward to getting to work with likeminded people towards educating and expanding the sexual violence prevention community on campus.
Meet Cam! She is our Collaborative Programming Director. She is a sophomore studying Pre-Law. She joined OASA because of her passion for student safety and access to support on Oregon’s campus. She is looking forward to getting to know and work with the OASA team to make a difference on our campus and beyond!
Meet Francesca! She is our Social Media Coordinator. She is a junior studying Planning, Public Policy, and Management. She joined OASA because she has a passion for sexual violence prevention and wants to support this cause for her community. She's looking forward to getting to know everyone and work on projects that promote a healthy environment for UO students.
