This event will be a first for Organization Against Sexual Assault. We thought it would be a cool idea to include professors in the conversation around what healthy relationships look like to them and how their education and knowledge around these subjects could provide a better understanding for students. This will be a speaker panel with multiple professors from the University of Oregon. We will be asking them questions regarding healthy relationships, boundaries, listening, and more! At the very end of the conversation we will give students a chance to ask any other questions that they have regarding healthy relationships & sexual violence. Come join us for free chipotle! We will be in Lillis 111 from 7-8:30PM on January 22nd.
This is our current schedule for our bi-weekly meetings. All of our bi-weekly meetings will have free pizza from Falling Sky Brewery in the EMU at the University of Oregon! Organization Against Sexual Assault will be discussing many different forms of sexual violence and how we can support others in different communities and circumstances. Please come join us every other Wednesday from 6-7PM!
Our next event is where we will be tabling on the ground floor of the EMU from 12:00-2:00pm on Thursday, November 14th. We will be giving away some free food and drinks, as well as fun prizes and doing activities. Come meet the team and learn about our club!

UO OASA was recently informed of some inaccuracies and limitations in our Sexual Violence Prevention Toolkit, which was released earlier this term. Specifically, those inaccuracies and limitations were mostly found in the “How to Get Involved” and “Support Services” sections. After learning more about the specific issues, we have realized that many of the inaccuracies were due to misunderstandings and misinterpretations on our end.
First and foremost, we apologize for our mistakes and that these inaccuracies and limitations made it in to the final version of the Toolkit. Our intention was never to misinform recipients of the Toolkit or spread inaccurate information, and we are taking actions to amend these issues.
In the immediate, we have temporarily removed the Toolkit from our website and will re-upload it once we’ve ensured that the information in it is as expansive and accurate as possible. We’ve also created a Google Form so that anyone can deliver anonymous feedback about the Toolkit, which you can access through the following link: http://goo.gl/forms/w2BZ8EgMPtB1N86N2
Throughout the rest of the term and next academic year, OASA will work diligently to improve the Toolkit and print physical copies once it is fixed. Please bear with us while we work to make our Toolkit as best as it can be. We thank you in advance for your patience and are sorry that these errors occurred. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
